Work for the Week

Arturo and I spent the weekend in Springfield, OH, performing a concert with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, so no crafting was completed, and very little JennJill work was accomplished. However, as a result of the relaxing and music-filled weekend, I’m recharged and ready to attack both my week and my to-do list.

I counted up my new ornaments for 2011 this weekend, and I have 54 exciting creations just begging to be listed online. I’m going to start listing new items today. Be sure to stay tuned for the updates.

Pepper has observed my many hours of photography the last few weeks, as I worked to get good photos of all my new items. She often couldn’t resist the temptation to join in the fun.

Happy Monday, all!

  1. That is so cute! I really like that ornament too.

    • Thanks, Monica! The ornament pictured is actually my Madonna and Child ornament, my best-selling ornament from last year. All of my 2010 ornaments are still going to be available for purchase this year, and I wanted better photos for this season. I’ve learned a lot about how to get good item photos in the past year. I wanted my older ornaments to benefit, which is why I was photographing the ornament last week and how Pepper had the opportunity to “crash” my photo shoot. 🙂

I also liked the photos. The TV station here has a pet photo segment on the evening news. I’ve thought sometimes of sending in photos of Pepper and Sunshine as my “grand-pets” (instead of grandchildren. The ornament is still one of my favorites. Can’t wait to see all the new ones.
    Love, Mom

I’ll wait until I’m sure we are going to be around for a while and can see the segment – probably after the 17th and the closing. Do you have a good picture of both Sunshine and Pepper in the same photo doing something cute? If so, send it to me. Love, Mom
