Happy Easter!

Spring is a time of renewal and rebirth in nature: new flowers sprout, baby animals are born, budding trees pop out their blossoms.

This rebirth and renewal is echoed in the springtime Christian calendar as well by the glorious celebrations of Easter, Christ’s resurrection.

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead.” – 1 Peter 1:3 (NLT)

My mind this week has been preoccupied with the beautiful pastels and open blossoms of spring, in a sense my way of heralding Easter’s arrival. I hope you enjoy perusing my creations of the past week, but more than that, I wish you and your family all the blessings of a wonderful Easter weekend.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16 (NIV)
