The Value of Hard Work

Starting, building, and managing a small business of any kind is hard work. Day in and day out, there are always tasks to complete, records to balance, orders to fill, customers to serve. This is something I’ve known superficially my entire life. The last six months of crafting entrepreneurship, however, have taught me the need for hard work and perseverance on a whole new level.

Last Wednesday, my post discussed a quote by Calvin Coolidge explaining the incredible power of persistence. Today, I’d like to present a similar comment from Picasso:

Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success.

– Pablo Picasso

In art and business, as in life, one must persevere, regardless of the odds and against any opposition. As Picasso said, there is no other route to success.
